Cynthia McKinney Highlights the Topanga Peace Alliance Party

For the fourth year, the Topanga Peace Alliance held their annual party to celebrate a lot of hard work, many great successes, and to just have some fun. The first half of the party featured performances by Candace Carnicelli; Susan Lovell McLaughlin Ellen Geer and Malora Marshall Maria Armoudian and several other talented musicians. Many attendees remarked at how consistently excellent all of the performers were.

Then Cynthia McKinney, the outgoing and outspoken Congresswoman from the State of Georgia, gave an inspiring presentation and answered questions from the crowd. After her presentation, the party went into high gear with a rocking set from Jim Crawford and friends plus members of the Downward Facing Dog Band.

Estimated attendance was about 150, which is roughly one third of the total number of members of the Topanga Peace Alliance (TPA).
